IN 3 JOHN: 2 IT SAYS BELOVED, I WISH ABOVE ALL THINGS THAT YOU MIGHT PROSPER AND BE IN HEALTH EVEN AS YOUR SOUL PROSPERS. THE BELOVED HE IS SPEAKING TO IS WE. HE ALSO GOES ON TO MENTION THAT IN ALL THINGS. THAT MEANS ALL THINGS!

3) JESUS BE CAME POOR SO THAT THOUGH HIM WE MAY BECOME RICH. HE ALSO TOOK UPON SICKNESS SO WE CAN BE HEALED.1 PETER 2: 24 SAYS THAT BY HIS STRIPES, WHO'S STRIPES? JESUS STRIPES, WE WERE HEALED. PRAISE GOD! ISN`T THAT GREAT, HE PAID THE PRICE SO YOU AND I DON`T HAVE TO SUFFER, JUST BELIEVE IN HIM AND ALL THINGS CAN HAPPEN.

4) JESUS SAID THAT THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS UPON HIM TO SET THE CAPTIVE FREE TO GIVE SIGHT TO THE BLIND AND TO HEAL THE BROKENHEARTED. HE ALSO SAID TO US TO DO LIKE WISE. AND GREATER WORKS THAN THESE SHALL YOU DO .WE ARE TO TELL THE GOOD NEWS THAT JESUS IS LORD AND HE LOVES YOU AND HE GAVE UP HIS LIFE FOR YOU, SO THAT WE MAY LIVE WITH HIM FOREVER.

5) JESUS SAID IN JOHN 10:10 THAT THE THIEF COMES TO STEAL, KILL, AND DESTROY, BUT I MEANING JESUS, CAME THAT YOU MAY HAVE LIFE AND HAVE IT MORE ABUNDANTLY. HE WANTS US TO ENJOY OUR LIFE HERE ON EARTH. AS WELL AS IN HEAVEN RIGHT NOW. “THY KINGDOM COME THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN”.

6) JESUS WANTS US HEALTHY; HE WANTS US TO PROSPER SPIRIT, SOUL, AND BODY.

7) TO WALK IN GODS BLESSINGS YOU, HAVE TO MEET THE CONDITIONS. THOUGH HIS MERCY ENDURES FOREVER HE LOVES US UNCONDITIONALLY JOHN 3:16,17,18.

8) WE MUST ALSO WALK IN FORGIVENESS TO WALK IN GODS BLESSINGS.WE MUST FORGIVE THOSE WHO HURT US SO THAT GOD CAN FORGIVE US WHEN WE HURT HIM.

9) I WANTED TO STRESS THAT WE ARE TO WALK IN THE GOD KIND OF LOVE IN ORDER FOR HEALING AND PROSPERITY TO WORK IN OUR LIFE.THIS THE GREAT COMMANDMENT LOVE THE LORD GOD AND TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

10) WE ARE THE ONLY JESUS THAT SINNERS ARE GOING TO SEE. SO BE THE BEST CHRISTIAN YOU CAN BE.AND REMEMBER THAT WE ARE NOT PERFECT, BUT A WORK IN PROGRESS.

Don’t be a double agent

In our lives we have choices to make, some good and some bad never the less we make them.

All of our choices start in the mind, as a thought. It is what we do with the thought that determines the choices we make.

As children of God we have the Holy Spirit in us and he is there to direct us in every area of our lives, if we let him.

In James 1:2-8 we see that test and trials come in to build character and to locate us spiritual. It also tells us not to be double-minded we are not to wishy- washy in our faith but be confident in the God we serve.

In Psalms 119:113 David states that he hates double-minded men, but he loves Gods law.

James 1:12-16 It all starts with a thought either to do good or bad. You have to make a choice to follow the flesh or the spirit.

When the devil places a thought in your mind, He doesn’t know if it took unless you open your mouth and speak it into existence.

We ponder on the thought until it becomes a strong hold in our heart then we begin to act on it. (This works the same with Gods word).

James 1:22-25 tells us that we are to be hearer and a doer of the word of God to make faith grow. The opposite is also true when it comes to fear.

You can’t serve two masters Matthew 6:24 you will love the one and hate the other, Its your choice to whom you serve.

Remember you have what you say Mark 11:22-26. Like Salvation you must believe in your heart and confess out of your mouth. Romans 10:9, 10.

In order to combat the thought life you have to get to the point where you can change the channel of the garbage thought and replace it with the word of God. You must make yourself think on something different in order to win the battle. Philippians 4: 8, 9

You must renew your mind daily to the word of God Romans 12:1, 2 & Timothy 2:15.

Especially in the areas you are having problems in.

Don’t just concentrate on the negative side of you problem, but find the answer to your problem with the word of God. The Bible is the answer book to all life’s problems READ IT.

As a man thinks in his heart so is he.

1 Corinthians 10:13 tells us that we have a way of escape from our temptations so that we are able to bare it all It is found in the Bible. Find scriptures on how to overcome the problem. Don’t give up and give the devil foot hold.

1 John 4:4, Romans 8: 37. Here are a few. Our God is faithful and full of mercy and love. God is in the forgiving business not looking to beat you. I would rather serve a God like that.

You can’t live with 1 foot in the world and 1 foot in the kingdom and expect to become an over comer in this life. You can’t be pitiful and powerful at the same time you have to make up your mind whom you will serve. As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.

Tell the story of the 2 Indians and the 2 wolves.

There was 1 old Indian, and 1 young Indian 2 strong wolves, but 1 will be an over comer. The young Indian asked which one will be the over comer? The older Indian replied the one you feed the most.

Which one will you feed?

Doubt The word of God

Fear Faith

Flesh Holy Spirit

Sickness Health

Lack Prosperity

You must watch your confession it will locate you spiritually. You confession can either bless you or curse you. Once again it is your choice.

Do you have enough of the word of God in you to combat the enemy? If not you are a sitting duck.

Have you been building yourself up in the spirit?

Have you been praising God in the mist of your storm? Don’t praise God for the storm but for the answer to overcome the storm.

Check yourself out in these areas and then read Romans 8:1 -39

Remember we are in this world , but no of this world we are to come out from the mist of them and be separate( set apart for the masters use). Don’t touch the unclean things of this world and God will receive you. 2 Corinthians 6: 14 – 18 we are to be a light and salt to this world. We are to be Jesus with skin on.

We are to bare fruit and keep the Sin out of our lives so that people will see the love of God in us and except Jesus as Lord of their lives. Galatians 5:19-26 Amen.

When, Where, What , And How is your Attitude

When
1: Your Attitude determines your Altitude with God.
A) When your Attitude is based on the things of this world your outlook towards the things of God become dim
Romans 12:1,2 you are to renew your mind to the word of God.
B) Your mind is the pivot point to which you run your life by. You either run your life by your flesh or by your spirit. It is better to be Spirit ruled than to be carnal (ruled by your flesh) Romans 8:5.


2: Where

A) When you are dealing with People or Problems in your life, where is your Attitude? The choice is yours to make either good or bad.

1) For People: we are commanded to walk in love, John 13:34,35 - 1Cor 13:4-10 –Romans 5:5

B) When dealing with Problems in your life it is better to seek God first, Matthew 6:33 –Hebrews 12:2 Proverbs 2:4,5 we are to trust in God with all our heart.

3) What

A) What is your Attitude? For example: in Giving, Money, Time, or whatever the situation requires.
We have a choice, either to do it with a loving and cheerful heart, or with a Grudge, complaining, bad Attitude.

B) We are to do things as if we are doing them as unto the Lord.
How we treat Jesus is how we are to treat People.

Jesus said “ As you have done it unto the least of these my Brethren you have done it unto me. Matthew 25:35-40. This is an example for us as Children of God to follow.

How to change our Attitude.
A) It is simple we are to change our Attitude by changing our thinking. We are to renew our minds to the word of God daily. In 2 Timothy 2:15 says to study to show ourselves approved. In 1 Timothy 6:11, we are to pursue Righteousness, Godliness, Faith, Love, Endurance, and Gentleness.
B) We are to cultivate the Fruit of the Spirit in our life. The Fruit of the spirit is found in Galatians 5:19-26.
C) Our Attitude as Christians are to be Spirit moved not fleshly ruled. As in vs: 19 tell us the works of the flesh and in vs: 26 tell us of the fruit of the Spirit.
D) Our Attitudes are to be one of love and reverence, towards God, respect, and love towards our fellow man. Reverance towards God will cause us to treat people right. We are Children of God and we are Jesus with skin on. We are the only Jesus that the world will see. People see our Attitudes, Good and Bad. What is your Attitude?

Conclusion

If you had already made mistakes in this area of your life you can change your Attitude.
A) Ask God to forgive you of your sin. 1John 1:9
B) We are to repent = change our thinking.
C) We are to dust off ourselves and start again.
D) It is not about you, it is all about God.
E) We are to put God First then others Second, the ourselves Third.

Heart that is Pure

Beginning text is Matthew 22:36-38

Matthew 5:8 God blesses those whose hearts are pure for they will see God

1) A Heart Transformation
The starting point of Christianity is a Heart Transformation from death unto life
The heart in this content is the Spirit of man. Jesus said unless you be born again John 3:3 you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. You do this by Faith and confession. You believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God and that God had raised him from the dead. Then confess with your mouth that Jesus is your personal Lord and Savior Romans 10:9-13. This is done by faith and the grace of God not by any thing you can do to earn it. Ephesians 2:1-10

After we have accepted Jesus in our Spirit we under go a heart change. Heart in this content is the Mind, Will, and Emotions. The Soul of man, we do this by renewing our minds daily to the word of God Romans 12:1,2.

The word of God does several things
a) It shows us Gods character.
b) Leads and guides you in the direction God has for your life.
c) It protects you from pit falls and traps from the devil.
d) Teaches you how to walk in love with your fellow man.
e) Helps you get rid of the garbage in you mind (stinking thinking)
f) Teaches you how to praise and worship God.
And much more if you will take the time to study it

I believe that prayer, praise and the studying the word of God is vital to a Christian’s life you really can’t live right without it.

2) A Heart Motive (Attitude)

When God judges a man he doesn’t judge the outward appearance of man but the heart. Heart in this content is the thought and intentions (motives)
We as Christians are supposed to have a heart of compassion for one another not hatred and Unforgivness. We are to love them as Jesus did from the heart not from the head with lip service. Love is not a feeling but an act of your will Love demands action you must do it. Jesus gave us plenty of examples to follow just look through the gospels and see. John 13:34,35: 1 Peter 1:22 John 15: 12,10-17 1 Timothy 1:5

When you do anything it should as if we are doing it unto Jesus, we ought to want to pleases Jesus not to earn his love we have it already, but because he first love us.
Jesus said as you have done it unto the least of these you have done it unto me.

In the area of giving you are to give with a cheerful and pure heart with the right motive not looking for a return. I am not just talking about money here, but in every area of your giving. James 4:3

We should be people of integrity and faithfulness. Psalms 24:3-6
Having a pure heart is not one who is a liar, a thief, or quick to get into trouble in actions or spreading gossip. We are to be a people that can be trusted and is willing to go the extra mile. We say that we trust God, but can God trust you?
Do we do what is right or do we under pressure compromise what we believe because we are afraid of what others will say about you, ashamed of who you are, or when the stuff hits the fan and you are faced with the decision to lie or tell the truth. Only you can answer that question. If you had made mistakes as God for forgiveness and go on and start doing the right thing and do it Gods way.

We should be people willing to love no matter what the cost. We should be people who can be trusted, faithful to do what we are to do and not be sneaky.

Remember we are Jesus with skin on, what Jesus is the world seeing in you?

The Potter and the clay

Jeremiah 18:1-6 the words of the Lord to the Prophet Jeremiah go down to the potters house and learn what he is doing.


The Potter is the example of God the Father who is Sovereign and all-powerful.

The wheel is the instrument used by the Potter called circumstances to form the clay into the vessel he wants to make. James 1:1-10

The clay is you the shapeless formless lump of material with all your problems, and troubles.

Brief definition of a Sovereign God is this:

HE IS GOD AND YOU ARE NOT!!!

We must learn to humbly submit to God without fear. If we have fear of God it is because we don’t know the character of God. We see God as this all-powerful, almighty God that can’t be touched. If we truly knew his character we would be able to submit to His will and purpose for our life. This is a process that takes place when you study the word of God and get to know him.

We see 3 things while looking into the window of the Potters House.

1) We see the Potter; A man of incredible ability, intention, intelligent, and a capable worker.
2) We see the wheel; the instrument the Potter uses to work His design, will, purpose into the clay.
3) We see the clay; the material from which, through which, and by which the intentions and purpose the Potter will become visible.
4) Finally we see the love and interest the Potter has for the clay.

Remember that the Potter is Father God.

We are the clay formed and fit for the masters’ use. We are crucified with Christ I die and yet I live for Him.

Our Father has a plan for us all we know is A&Z the rest is His to know He will let us know if He wants to.

Remember God is a Sovereign God. He is God and we are not.

The Prophet Isaiah Stated in Isaiah chapter 49: 1-4 a strange thing is going on here the clay is telling the Potter how it wants to be formed, but the Potter speaks to the clay in verses 5-26.

It is supposed to be the Potter having absolute power over the clay not the other way around.
You must have a full understanding in the Potter and the Clay in order to find your purpose in life.
Here is a good confession to say in prayer every morning.

Have your own way Lord have your own way. You are the Potter I am the clay. Mold me and make me after your will while I am waiting yielded and still. Is 40:31, Gal 6:9 Ps 91:1-4

God doesn’t have a Problem granting the desires of your heart as long as it lines up with His will for your life and not out of your selfish motive. Psalms 37:4, But you have to first seek Him Matthew 6:33.
Keep in mind that everything is Gods we are just the managers of what he has giving us.

2 Corinthians 4:7 we are treasures in perishable (clay pots) containers.
Genesis 2:7 God formed Man from the dust of the earth. (In the Hebrew that dust means red clay) if it was truly dust then when God breathed in the breath of life He would of blown us away.

You see if it weren’t for the Potter/ God we wouldn’t be here. We can do nothing apart for Jesus. John 15:1-10
We are once again to be crucified with Christ its not I that live but Christ who lives through me. I can do nothing without Jesus.

Conclusion:

The Potters field

In Matthew 27:7 tells us how Judas betrayed Jesus to the Jewish Leaders for 30 pieces of silver. This was considered blood money and could not be taken back when Judas gave it to them. The High Priest took the money and bought the (Potters field called also the field of blood.)

It was the blood of Jesus that bought us back.

That is how much Jesus really loves you
You will find how much the Potter / Father God Loves you in John 3:16, Hebrews 9:14, 22,28. And he made a way to except Jesus as lord of your life found in Romans 10:9-13.

If you are that broken vessel and you lost your purpose there is hope for you his Name is Jesus. Jesus is walking through the Potters field of you life today He wants to remake you for his purpose if you will only let him. You have to (Submit to his lordship, be still and know he truly loves you).

Here are 3 Principles for you to remember 1 submit 2 find his purpose for you 3 Get to know the character of the Potter.

1) The first thing to do is to submit to the sovereignty of the all-powerful, loving God, Master, and Potter. James 4:7
2) Find out the purpose he has for you by spending time in his word and in prayer. Stay still and not jump off the wheel when the stuff hits the fan. You will find peace and security in the Potters hands. Isaiah 40:31, Galatians 6:9, Psalms 91:1-16, Proverbs 3:4,5, James 1:1-10.
3) Finally by doing all this you will know the Potters character, which is Love.
For God is Love and Love is God 1John 4:8
If you want to know what love is turn to 1 Corinthians 13:4-8,10,13. It is the Love Chapter.

Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted give sight to the blind, and to set you free. If this is you he is standing at the door of your heart knocking will you let Him in?

Jesus the Potter has a special plan just for you. You will find some of it in Jeremiah 29:11 read it and find out what is in store for you.

The Choice is yours

Deuteronomy 30:19,20 this day I call Heaven and Earth as witnesses against you. I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life so that you and your children may live. Vs 20 that you may love the lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life.

As you can see God gives a choice. Life or death, blessing and curses God is such a loving God he gave us the answer twice He said to choose life and that the Lord is your life. He is referring to Jesus here. In John 3:16,18 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son Jesus. That whosoever believes on him shall have everlasting life. But Vs 18 said whosoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whosoever doesn’t believe in the name of Gods one and only Son is condemned already. Once again the choice is yours.

God loved us so much He told us twice once in the Old Testament, and again in the New Testament. In John 3:3 Jesus said that we must be born again. How do you ask? In Romans 10:9-17 you must believe in your Heart the lord Jesus and confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and savior. Vs 13 states that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved amen.

Turn to the Book of Joshua 24:14,15.Joshua tells us to fear the lord. (That fear is to respect; Reverence the Lord not to be afraid of Him.) For God loves you. We are to serve Him with faithfulness.

Joshua goes on to tell us to through away the other Gods your Forefathers (You once worshiped). Vs 15 Joshua comes out with a choice He states that if serving the Lord is undesirable to you, then choose you this day that you will serve, (The God of sin whom you once served or still serving, or the God of life.) But for my house and me we will serve the Lord.

You see the choice is still yours. Question is whom are you going to choose?

The way to serve God is to get to know him. How you ask? It is simple just get into the word of God the Bible and God will speak to you. A good Book to read is Proverbs the book of wisdom. Turn to Proverbs 8:10,13,35,36. In your own time read the whole chapter it is great. In verse 10 the writer King Solomon is telling us to choose wisdom .For we find that wisdom is the word and the word is Jesus who is the word made flesh John 1:14. We are to choose wisdoms instructions instead of Gold and Knowledge than choice Silver. We are to get rid of Pride it is a pit fall and God hates it. Vs13 We is to hate pride, arrogance, evil behavior, and perverse speech. (This is how to fear, respect the Lord). Vs 17 if you love wisdom and seek it you will find it, because with wisdom come riches and honor enduring wealth and prosperity. Here is the other choice to make in VS 35,36 for whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord .VS 36 but whoever fails to find me harms him, all who hates me loves death. (Read Proverbs 16:16-25 the choice is yours).

In John 15:14-21 Jesus cause us friends not servants. Jesus said that he choose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit –fruit that will last. VS17 Jesus tells us a new commandment it is to love each other. The world will hate you but Jesus had overcome the world so we can also for greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world 1 John 4:4. Plus they hated Jesus first before they hated you.

In John 14:12-17 we are to pit our trust in Jesus we are to love him do what he tell us to do and to love one another. John 13:34,35. (To Love is your choice to make.)

This is what Jesus did for us

The Bible states out of the mouth of 2or3 witnesses let every truth be established.
Here in Ephesians 1:4-14 states that we were chosen, predestined us, loved us, we are redeemed by the blood of Jesus, forgiven, given grace, given wisdom, God did this for his purpose, so that we can be include in Christ. We are sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. We have a guaranteed inheritance. We are Gods Possession that is me/us amen. (Wouldn’t that make you want to choose Jesus as your Lord and savior)?

In 1Corinthians 1:27-31 is what God has chosen to do. He chooses the foolish over the wise. The weak over the strong, the lowly and despised of the world to nullify the things that are not to bring to nothing the things that are. Vs it is because of God that we are in Christ VS 31 Let us boost in the Lord not in ourselves amen.

2Corinthians 5:17-21 we are the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus our Lord. God made it easy for us to choose Him. Just call upon the Name of the Lord Jesus and be saved. All we have to do is to Love, Trust and Obey Him it is that simple amen.

What the blood of Jesus did for you
I want to take you back to a time where a man name Jesus who walked this earth some 2000+ years ago

Jesus was born of a virgin named Mary who was chosen by God to bring His only begotten Son into this world to save humanity from Sin and eternal death. John 3:16

This child had to be born of a virgin because he couldn’t have the blood of sinful man in him. The blood of the child comes from the sperm of the man. Jesus had to be without sin so he was born of the Holy Spirit. Jesus has holy blood.

As Jesus grew up he performed many miracles and showed the love of God to all He came in contact with.

Jesus was 30 years old when he started his ministry. He died 3 years later. Jesus was what you would call the talk of the town in those days.

Towards the end of his life Jesus was loved and rejected at the same time by the same people he came to save in the first place.

Judas betrayed Jesus, Denied by Peter arrested
, Beaten Matthew 26: 47 with a cat of nine tails made up with chips of bone, metal, glass pottery, and anything else the could fine. When the roman soldiers were finished Jesus didn’t even look like a man but like a pile of raw hamburger meat. The striped him and then clothed him with a purple robe and pounded a crown of thorns on his head. Then beaten him some more. Jesus was mocked, and rejected by his own people again. Then finally crucified. Matthew 27: 19- 26

But the story goes on from there.
In Matthew 28:5 Jesus rose from the grave victorious. You see when he died he went to hell and kicked the devils butt and did the same to him that the devil did to Jesus. Jesus then took his blood ascended into heaven and placed his blood on the mercy seat to save us and buy us back from Satan’s authority. Jesus came back to earth and made 2 women his first Evangelist. Matthew 28:5

Turn to Hebrews chapters 8,9,and 10.
While Jesus was in heaven he took his and poured on the mercy seat for you and me. Here is what that precious blood did at that time.

1) Jesus sealed a new contract or covenant with his blood Hebrews 8:6
2) We have forgiveness of sins by the blood of Jesus Hebrews 8:12
3) We have been redeemed (bought back) by the blood of Jesus Hebrews 9:12
4) We have been sanctified (made righteous) by the blood of Jesus Hebrews 9:13
5) We have freedom from a guilty conscience by the blood of Jesus Hebrews 9:14
6) We have received the promise of inheritance by the blood of Jesus. Hebrews 9:15, Romans 8:15.
7) We have been set free from sins (sin nature) by the blood of Jesus Hebrews 9:15b
For you see without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins.

The old covenant had atonement of sins (cover up), but the new covenant had remission of sins (blotted out) by the blood of Jesus Hebrews 9:22

Jesus paid the price once and for all for sin and bought us back from the authority of the devil. Jesus striped him of the keys of death, hell, and the grave. Made an open show of him and marched the devil down the streets of hell naked.

Why you ask? The answer is because Jesus loves you while he was looking down from the cross he saw you there.

By the blood of Jesus we have the confidence to come in to the holy of holies right up to the thrown of God and be bold because of the price of the precious blood that Jesus shed for us. We can have a sincere heart and full assurance of faith because of the blood of Jesus.

Conclusion: turn to Matthew 28: 16
Jesus tells us before he ascended back into heaven to go and tell others of the price he paid for them and how much He loves them. And how He came to set them free.

Turn back to Hebrews 10: 35-39 read it then if needed turn to Romans 10:9,10 and make Jesus the Lord of your life and be covered by the blood of Jesus (Amen.)
