Here are 4 reasons why the blessings are now flowing in our lives,
And 4 ways to have the blessings of God continually flowing in a Christian’s life
1) Disobedience: disobeying God and his word. If God tells you to do something in his word for you to do you must do it.
A lot of times we think we know better than God, but we find out that he is all knowing. The Bible said all have sinned and fall shot of the glory of God. Read Romans 3:9-18, 22; 5:1-20; 6:15-23
2) Unfaithfulness: Will stop the blessings of God to flow in our life because the bible says in Proverbs 28:20 a faithful man will flow with blessings. Being greedy, get rich scams, Proverbs 13:11; Proverbs 20:21 this will stop the blessings.
3) Not Pure in heart: If you can’t be trusted to do gods word and what he has commanded you to do the blessings will stop. Examples lying, cheating, stealing, not walking in love with your neighbor, gossiping etc. 2 Kings 4:29-31 the sin you fail to deal with will be your down fall, because it will stop the blessings to flow. Purity = Innocents. Don’t have corrupt hands.
4) Not tithing: this isn’t just about money, it is whatever first fruit you can give to God. For what you sow you will reap Galatians 6:7.
Here are 4 ways to have the blessing to flow.
1) Obedience: to God, and his word. If God tells you to do something do it.
We as Christians must follow the commands that Jesus told us to follow. In Matthew 22:36-39 The 2 greatest commandments.
We do this by doing 3 things.
A. Placing God First in our everyday lives. Matthew 6:33.
B. We as Christians must keep the commands of love John 13:34, 35 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. For what we sow we will also reap. Galatians 6:7.
C. Standing and studying the word of God. Romans 12:1, 2 Ephesians 6:10-19. 2 Timothy 2:15
2) Faithfulness: Proverbs 28:20 a faithful man/woman will flow in blessings. For the blessings of Abraham is ours Galatians 3: 13, 14, 26-29; 4: 4-7. Being faithful is doing things Gods way not ours it’s not about you, but all about God. Colossians 3:1-15
A faithful man is strict, and thorough in his duties and a person who can be trusted and dependable.
When we become faithful over little he will make us ruler over much. Matthew 21: 33-43 this is called faithfulness.
3) Pure heart: Is the main foundation for the blessings to flow. 1 Timothy 2: 19-21; Psalms 24:3-5
A good saying get under the spout where the blessings come out.
Don’t be the man with spiritual constipation depart from Iniquity follow the leading of the Holy Spirit inside of you and not the dictates of the flesh. This is the key to all success.
The Bible says a wise man purges him self to become wiser, and to have a pure heart before God in order to be used by God.
Do what you need to do to have a pure heart Matthew 5:8.
Have clean hands. Job 22:29,30. Matthew 21:12,The Issue is not in the rod, but in the hands that held the rod. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 we are to be an example not part of the problem.
Say I am pure in heart before God because of what Jesus did for me at the cross. I have been set free by the blood of Jesus.
Jesus is the rod that has the anointing which is the word made flesh John 1:14 which we hold in our hands. 2 Kings 5:20-27, Isaiah 11:1 we are to be pure in thoughts and deed. Don’t try to kiss up but be pure in motive and sincere. Philippians 4:4- 9 Colossians 3: 12-16,23-25.
4) Tithing exchange: God is your source for everything. God is the creator of all things. We as Christians have to worship the creator instead of his creation. The bible says to give Luke 6:38, Malachi 3:8-12.Giving should be something we would want to do, not something that we are forced to do or need to do. God loves a cheerful giver. You can’t out give God John 3:16,and Philippians 4:19.
Tithing is much more than giving money it is anything that is first fruit in your life.
We will go deeper into tithing on a later date.
We are to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not unto our own understanding proverbs 3:4-6.
When we don’t keep our eyes on Jesus we become lost. John 14:6 He is our Way, Truth, and the life, without him we can do nothing John 15:1-21. For Jesus is the Author and finisher of our faith Hebrews 12:2, Jesus is the vine and we are the branches .In the 13th chapter of John through the 16th chapter Jesus tells us how to obtain Love, Joy and Peace in our everyday life.
Question to you is are you following the 4 steps to receiving the blessings that are already your?
Are you obedient?
Are you faithful?
Are you pure in heart?
Are tithing the first fruits to God?
Do you trust your life to the Father who really loves you?
God wants his people to have Righteousness, Peace, and Joy in the Holy Ghost. Romans 14:7, if you will trust God he will keep you in his perfect will for your life.
God loves us so much; he is always there for us when we need him amen. We need to keep God first in our life and seek his advice first before seeking mans advice. It is ok to seek advice from people you respect and will give you sound godly advice, but you must seek God first. The Bible states that if we draw near to God he will draw near to you. Jesus is standing at the door of your heart; will you answer the door and let him in? Jesus loves you and he want to be with you forever amen.
