The Potter and the clay

Jeremiah 18:1-6 the words of the Lord to the Prophet Jeremiah go down to the potters house and learn what he is doing.

The Potter is the example of God the Father who is Sovereign and all-powerful.

The wheel is the instrument used by the Potter called circumstances to form the clay into the vessel he wants to make. James 1:1-10

The clay is you the shapeless formless lump of material with all your problems, and troubles.

Brief definition of a Sovereign God is this:

HE IS GOD AND YOU ARE NOT!!!

We must learn to humbly submit to God without fear. If we have fear of God it is because we don’t know the character of God. We see God as this all-powerful, almighty God that can’t be touched. If we truly knew his character we would be able to submit to His will and purpose for our life. This is a process that takes place when you study the word of God and get to know him.

We see 3 things while looking into the window of the Potters House.

1) We see the Potter; A man of incredible ability, intention, intelligent, and a capable worker.
2) We see the wheel; the instrument the Potter uses to work His design, will, purpose into the clay.
3) We see the clay; the material from which, through which, and by which the intentions and purpose the Potter will become visible.
4) Finally we see the love and interest the Potter has for the clay.

Remember that the Potter is Father God.

We are the clay formed and fit for the masters’ use. We are crucified with Christ I die and yet I live for Him.

Our Father has a plan for us all we know is A&Z the rest is His to know He will let us know if He wants to.

Remember God is a Sovereign God. He is God and we are not.

The Prophet Isaiah Stated in Isaiah chapter 49: 1-4 a strange thing is going on here the clay is telling the Potter how it wants to be formed, but the Potter speaks to the clay in verses 5-26.

It is supposed to be the Potter having absolute power over the clay not the other way around.
You must have a full understanding in the Potter and the Clay in order to find your purpose in life.
Here is a good confession to say in prayer every morning.

Have your own way Lord have your own way. You are the Potter I am the clay. Mold me and make me after your will while I am waiting yielded and still. Is 40:31, Gal 6:9 Ps 91:1-4

God doesn’t have a Problem granting the desires of your heart as long as it lines up with His will for your life and not out of your selfish motive. Psalms 37:4, But you have to first seek Him Matthew 6:33.
Keep in mind that everything is Gods we are just the managers of what he has giving us.

2 Corinthians 4:7 we are treasures in perishable (clay pots) containers.
Genesis 2:7 God formed Man from the dust of the earth. (In the Hebrew that dust means red clay) if it was truly dust then when God breathed in the breath of life He would of blown us away.

You see if it weren’t for the Potter/ God we wouldn’t be here. We can do nothing apart for Jesus. John 15:1-10
We are once again to be crucified with Christ its not I that live but Christ who lives through me. I can do nothing without Jesus.

Conclusion:

The Potters field

In Matthew 27:7 tells us how Judas betrayed Jesus to the Jewish Leaders for 30 pieces of silver. This was considered blood money and could not be taken back when Judas gave it to them. The High Priest took the money and bought the (Potters field called also the field of blood.)

It was the blood of Jesus that bought us back.

That is how much Jesus really loves you
You will find how much the Potter / Father God Loves you in John 3:16, Hebrews 9:14, 22,28. And he made a way to except Jesus as lord of your life found in Romans 10:9-13.

If you are that broken vessel and you lost your purpose there is hope for you his Name is Jesus. Jesus is walking through the Potters field of you life today He wants to remake you for his purpose if you will only let him. You have to (Submit to his lordship, be still and know he truly loves you).

Here are 3 Principles for you to remember 1 submit 2 find his purpose for you 3 Get to know the character of the Potter.

1) The first thing to do is to submit to the sovereignty of the all-powerful, loving God, Master, and Potter. James 4:7
2) Find out the purpose he has for you by spending time in his word and in prayer. Stay still and not jump off the wheel when the stuff hits the fan. You will find peace and security in the Potters hands. Isaiah 40:31, Galatians 6:9, Psalms 91:1-16, Proverbs 3:4,5, James 1:1-10.
3) Finally by doing all this you will know the Potters character, which is Love.
For God is Love and Love is God 1John 4:8
If you want to know what love is turn to 1 Corinthians 13:4-8,10,13. It is the Love Chapter.

Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted give sight to the blind, and to set you free. If this is you he is standing at the door of your heart knocking will you let Him in?

Jesus the Potter has a special plan just for you. You will find some of it in Jeremiah 29:11 read it and find out what is in store for you.

The Choice is yours

Deuteronomy 30:19,20 this day I call Heaven and Earth as witnesses against you. I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life so that you and your children may live. Vs 20 that you may love the lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life.

As you can see God gives a choice. Life or death, blessing and curses God is such a loving God he gave us the answer twice He said to choose life and that the Lord is your life. He is referring to Jesus here. In John 3:16,18 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son Jesus. That whosoever believes on him shall have everlasting life. But Vs 18 said whosoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whosoever doesn’t believe in the name of Gods one and only Son is condemned already. Once again the choice is yours.

God loved us so much He told us twice once in the Old Testament, and again in the New Testament. In John 3:3 Jesus said that we must be born again. How do you ask? In Romans 10:9-17 you must believe in your Heart the lord Jesus and confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and savior. Vs 13 states that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved amen.

Turn to the Book of Joshua 24:14,15.Joshua tells us to fear the lord. (That fear is to respect; Reverence the Lord not to be afraid of Him.) For God loves you. We are to serve Him with faithfulness.

Joshua goes on to tell us to through away the other Gods your Forefathers (You once worshiped). Vs 15 Joshua comes out with a choice He states that if serving the Lord is undesirable to you, then choose you this day that you will serve, (The God of sin whom you once served or still serving, or the God of life.) But for my house and me we will serve the Lord.

You see the choice is still yours. Question is whom are you going to choose?

The way to serve God is to get to know him. How you ask? It is simple just get into the word of God the Bible and God will speak to you. A good Book to read is Proverbs the book of wisdom. Turn to Proverbs 8:10,13,35,36. In your own time read the whole chapter it is great. In verse 10 the writer King Solomon is telling us to choose wisdom .For we find that wisdom is the word and the word is Jesus who is the word made flesh John 1:14. We are to choose wisdoms instructions instead of Gold and Knowledge than choice Silver. We are to get rid of Pride it is a pit fall and God hates it. Vs13 We is to hate pride, arrogance, evil behavior, and perverse speech. (This is how to fear, respect the Lord). Vs 17 if you love wisdom and seek it you will find it, because with wisdom come riches and honor enduring wealth and prosperity. Here is the other choice to make in VS 35,36 for whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord .VS 36 but whoever fails to find me harms him, all who hates me loves death. (Read Proverbs 16:16-25 the choice is yours).

In John 15:14-21 Jesus cause us friends not servants. Jesus said that he choose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit –fruit that will last. VS17 Jesus tells us a new commandment it is to love each other. The world will hate you but Jesus had overcome the world so we can also for greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world 1 John 4:4. Plus they hated Jesus first before they hated you.

In John 14:12-17 we are to pit our trust in Jesus we are to love him do what he tell us to do and to love one another. John 13:34,35. (To Love is your choice to make.)

This is what Jesus did for us

The Bible states out of the mouth of 2or3 witnesses let every truth be established.
Here in Ephesians 1:4-14 states that we were chosen, predestined us, loved us, we are redeemed by the blood of Jesus, forgiven, given grace, given wisdom, God did this for his purpose, so that we can be include in Christ. We are sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. We have a guaranteed inheritance. We are Gods Possession that is me/us amen. (Wouldn’t that make you want to choose Jesus as your Lord and savior)?

Read Ephesians 2:1-10 to find out more of what God has done for you amen.

(This is Gods choice)

In 1Corinthians 1:27-31 is what God has chosen to do. He chooses the foolish over the wise. The weak over the strong, the lowly and despised of the world to nullify the things that are not to bring to nothing the things that are. Vs it is because of God that we are in Christ VS 31 Let us boost in the Lord not in ourselves amen.

2Corinthians 5:17-21 we are the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus our Lord. God made it easy for us to choose Him. Just call upon the Name of the Lord Jesus and be saved. All we have to do is to Love, Trust and Obey Him it is that simple amen.

The Choice is yours.

Happy Resurrection ( Easter) Sunday 2007

What the blood of Jesus did for you
I want to take you back to a time where a man name Jesus who walked this earth some 2000+ years ago

Jesus was born of a virgin named Mary who was chosen by God to bring His only begotten Son into this world to save humanity from Sin and eternal death. John 3:16

This child had to be born of a virgin because he couldn’t have the blood of sinful man in him. The blood of the child comes from the sperm of the man. Jesus had to be without sin so he was born of the Holy Spirit. Jesus has holy blood.

As Jesus grew up he performed many miracles and showed the love of God to all He came in contact with.

Jesus was 30 years old when he started his ministry. He died 3 years later. Jesus was what you would call the talk of the town in those days.

Towards the end of his life Jesus was loved and rejected at the same time by the same people he came to save in the first place.

Judas betrayed Jesus, Denied by Peter arrested
, Beaten Matthew 26: 47 with a cat of nine tails made up with chips of bone, metal, glass pottery, and anything else the could fine. When the roman soldiers were finished Jesus didn’t even look like a man but like a pile of raw hamburger meat. The striped him and then clothed him with a purple robe and pounded a crown of thorns on his head. Then beaten him some more. Jesus was mocked, and rejected by his own people again. Then finally crucified. Matthew 27: 19- 26

But the story goes on from there.
In Matthew 28:5 Jesus rose from the grave victorious. You see when he died he went to hell and kicked the devils butt and did the same to him that the devil did to Jesus. Jesus then took his blood ascended into heaven and placed his blood on the mercy seat to save us and buy us back from Satan’s authority. Jesus came back to earth and made 2 women his first Evangelist. Matthew 28:5

Turn to Hebrews chapters 8,9,and 10.
While Jesus was in heaven he took his and poured on the mercy seat for you and me. Here is what that precious blood did at that time.

1) Jesus sealed a new contract or covenant with his blood Hebrews 8:6
2) We have forgiveness of sins by the blood of Jesus Hebrews 8:12
3) We have been redeemed (bought back) by the blood of Jesus Hebrews 9:12
4) We have been sanctified (made righteous) by the blood of Jesus Hebrews 9:13
5) We have freedom from a guilty conscience by the blood of Jesus Hebrews 9:14
6) We have received the promise of inheritance by the blood of Jesus. Hebrews 9:15, Romans 8:15.
7) We have been set free from sins (sin nature) by the blood of Jesus Hebrews 9:15b
For you see without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins.

The old covenant had atonement of sins (cover up), but the new covenant had remission of sins (blotted out) by the blood of Jesus Hebrews 9:22

Jesus paid the price once and for all for sin and bought us back from the authority of the devil. Jesus striped him of the keys of death, hell, and the grave. Made an open show of him and marched the devil down the streets of hell naked.

Why you ask? The answer is because Jesus loves you while he was looking down from the cross he saw you there.

By the blood of Jesus we have the confidence to come in to the holy of holies right up to the thrown of God and be bold because of the price of the precious blood that Jesus shed for us. We can have a sincere heart and full assurance of faith because of the blood of Jesus.

Conclusion: turn to Matthew 28: 16
Jesus tells us before he ascended back into heaven to go and tell others of the price he paid for them and how much He loves them. And how He came to set them free.

Turn back to Hebrews 10: 35-39 read it then if needed turn to Romans 10:9,10 and make Jesus the Lord of your life and be covered by the blood of Jesus (Amen.)

Special day/Why Gods People don't recieve their blessings

Here are 4 reasons why the blessings are now flowing in our lives,
And 4 ways to have the blessings of God continually flowing in a Christian’s life

1) Disobedience: disobeying God and his word. If God tells you to do something in his word for you to do you must do it.
A lot of times we think we know better than God, but we find out that he is all knowing. The Bible said all have sinned and fall shot of the glory of God. Read Romans 3:9-18, 22; 5:1-20; 6:15-23

2) Unfaithfulness: Will stop the blessings of God to flow in our life because the bible says in Proverbs 28:20 a faithful man will flow with blessings. Being greedy, get rich scams, Proverbs 13:11; Proverbs 20:21 this will stop the blessings.

3) Not Pure in heart: If you can’t be trusted to do gods word and what he has commanded you to do the blessings will stop. Examples lying, cheating, stealing, not walking in love with your neighbor, gossiping etc. 2 Kings 4:29-31 the sin you fail to deal with will be your down fall, because it will stop the blessings to flow. Purity = Innocents. Don’t have corrupt hands.

4) Not tithing: this isn’t just about money, it is whatever first fruit you can give to God. For what you sow you will reap Galatians 6:7.

Here are 4 ways to have the blessing to flow.
1) Obedience: to God, and his word. If God tells you to do something do it.
We as Christians must follow the commands that Jesus told us to follow. In Matthew 22:36-39 The 2 greatest commandments.
We do this by doing 3 things.
A. Placing God First in our everyday lives. Matthew 6:33.
B. We as Christians must keep the commands of love John 13:34, 35 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. For what we sow we will also reap. Galatians 6:7.
C. Standing and studying the word of God. Romans 12:1, 2 Ephesians 6:10-19. 2 Timothy 2:15

2) Faithfulness: Proverbs 28:20 a faithful man/woman will flow in blessings. For the blessings of Abraham is ours Galatians 3: 13, 14, 26-29; 4: 4-7. Being faithful is doing things Gods way not ours it’s not about you, but all about God. Colossians 3:1-15
A faithful man is strict, and thorough in his duties and a person who can be trusted and dependable.
When we become faithful over little he will make us ruler over much. Matthew 21: 33-43 this is called faithfulness.

3) Pure heart: Is the main foundation for the blessings to flow. 1 Timothy 2: 19-21; Psalms 24:3-5

A good saying get under the spout where the blessings come out.
Don’t be the man with spiritual constipation depart from Iniquity follow the leading of the Holy Spirit inside of you and not the dictates of the flesh. This is the key to all success.

The Bible says a wise man purges him self to become wiser, and to have a pure heart before God in order to be used by God.
Do what you need to do to have a pure heart Matthew 5:8.

Have clean hands. Job 22:29,30. Matthew 21:12,The Issue is not in the rod, but in the hands that held the rod. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 we are to be an example not part of the problem.
Say I am pure in heart before God because of what Jesus did for me at the cross. I have been set free by the blood of Jesus.
Jesus is the rod that has the anointing which is the word made flesh John 1:14 which we hold in our hands. 2 Kings 5:20-27, Isaiah 11:1 we are to be pure in thoughts and deed. Don’t try to kiss up but be pure in motive and sincere. Philippians 4:4- 9 Colossians 3: 12-16,23-25.

4) Tithing exchange: God is your source for everything. God is the creator of all things. We as Christians have to worship the creator instead of his creation. The bible says to give Luke 6:38, Malachi 3:8-12.Giving should be something we would want to do, not something that we are forced to do or need to do. God loves a cheerful giver. You can’t out give God John 3:16,and Philippians 4:19.
Tithing is much more than giving money it is anything that is first fruit in your life.

We will go deeper into tithing on a later date.

We are to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not unto our own understanding proverbs 3:4-6.
When we don’t keep our eyes on Jesus we become lost. John 14:6 He is our Way, Truth, and the life, without him we can do nothing John 15:1-21. For Jesus is the Author and finisher of our faith Hebrews 12:2, Jesus is the vine and we are the branches .In the 13th chapter of John through the 16th chapter Jesus tells us how to obtain Love, Joy and Peace in our everyday life.

Question to you is are you following the 4 steps to receiving the blessings that are already your?
Are you obedient?
Are you faithful?
Are you pure in heart?
Are tithing the first fruits to God?

Do you trust your life to the Father who really loves you?

God wants his people to have Righteousness, Peace, and Joy in the Holy Ghost. Romans 14:7, if you will trust God he will keep you in his perfect will for your life.

God loves us so much; he is always there for us when we need him amen. We need to keep God first in our life and seek his advice first before seeking mans advice. It is ok to seek advice from people you respect and will give you sound godly advice, but you must seek God first. The Bible states that if we draw near to God he will draw near to you. Jesus is standing at the door of your heart; will you answer the door and let him in? Jesus loves you and he want to be with you forever amen.

Divine Guidance

Divine Guidance

Spiritual Guidance
In this lesson we will learn the importance of Spiritual guidance, Being misled, the leading of God, How to be led, Proving what is Gods will, Finally How God leads you.

In this world there is a lot of trouble (chaos) do to our lust and pride. This is what motivates men and women in the direction that the world is headed today. These men and women don’t know God and are not led by the Holy Spirit. With all the knowledge we gain in life, if not being directed by the Holy Spirit we wind up with a big mess. (Daniel 12:4). God has given knowledge to mankind to bring glory to God not for mankind to become prideful and never seeking God and his word. People are Hating and using one another in order to get to the top just to find out that without God all their efforts are done in vain. There is some who know God and are still not directed by the Holy Spirit. This is due to the lack of knowledge. ( Hosea 4:6 )My People are destroyed for the lack of knowledge. Those of us who are directed by the Holy Spirit find peace and prosperity in the world, where others are suffering in all areas of life. God is blessing his people by us seeking Him first through His word. (Matthew 6:33) We are to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not unto our own understanding, but in all our ways acknowledge Him and He will direct our path. ( Proverbs 3:4,5). In the last days the bible tells us that these are signs that men and women will be lovers of themselves, and that the love of many will grow cold. Found in (Matthew 24:10,12). That is why it is very important to be led by the Spirit of God in these last days.
A believer must learn to become so depended on Christ that we wouldn’t want to do anything without checking in first with Him. Jesus is our guide, He knows everything you need to know or ever worth knowing in this life. He is the author and the finisher of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2)

How to avoid being misled

Don’t be led by your Feelings
We as believers in Christ are not to be led by our feelings, every thought or notion that comes up. That in turn will make us flakey, and fruity like a (granola bar). We may think that being led this way is wise, but in the end it can turn against you and hurt you. (Proverbs 14:12).These type of people are led by their own ways, lust, desires, and not seeking Gods word or help. This is due to a lack of knowledge. Here are 7 pit falls that can hinder in being led by the Holy Spirit. Human Emotions, this person acts on their emotions, feelings and is ruled by them. Human Ego. (1 Samuel 15:23). The desire of natural things (Mark 4:17-20) Desires and pleasures are a blessing from God when kept in balance .If not they can cause many problems in your life. We are to seek God first. Lust of the Flesh This is the biggest distraction the devil uses against us. (James 1:14,15). The works of the Flesh are in (Galatians 5:19-21); The Fruit of the Spirit is found in (Galatians 5:22-25). Human Logic. It is ok to be smart, but use common since, because the natural human mind can’t accept the supernatural (1Corinthains 2:14). Outside voices Listening to outside voices can be very dangerous for anybody to get into. They could be Familiar spirits, departed dead, or just thought patters in your mind. God works through people but so does the devil, so follow the Shepherds` voice . Guilt in the Human mind People who are religious like to make people feel guilty and unworthy but the bible says that we are righteous. (2 Corinthians 5:21) greater is He that is in me (1John 4:4) there is now no condemnation (Romans 8:1) when we hear that junk we are not to accept it. We are to renew our minds (Romans 12:2.) We `re bought with the blood of Jesus. (Hebrews 9:14). The leading of God In the Old Testament God led his people by a cloud by day and a fire by night. God did many signs and wonders to lead his people and to instill trust and faith in them. In the New Testament we are led by God speaking to us directly, by his spoken and written word.
We see that signs and wonders follow the believer instead of us following them. (Mark 16:16-21) The bible is Gods spoken word .It leads, guides, directs, corrects, and teaches us. It is up to us to want to listen and do what it says. The Holy Spirit will guide you, not dictate you. In some of our decisions there are many options, but there are times that there isn’t a choice; it will be a direct command from God. Remember the Holy Spirit is a gentleman not a bully.
How to be led
You see it is all about Gods will .You must learn to hear Gods voice. This is done by studying and renewing your mind to the word of God. (Romans 12:2) We have the mind of Christ so let it be in you. (Philippians 2:5) Being born again isn’t enough to be led by the Spirit of God. You must study, pray, Praise, Worship, attend church. Most of all love God and love others. Matthew 22:27
Proving it with Gods word.

Try the spirit to see if it is of God.(1 John 4:1-6).If there is confusion it is not God , it is the devil. (1 Corinthians 14:33), (2 Corinthians 4:4) We are to put on the armor of God . (Ephesians 6:10-19). Find out if you have any peace about it. Peace is like an umpire giving you direction. If there is a bad feeling like a churning in your gut then back away and wait on God. (Colossians 3:15).
How God will lead you

God will lead you mostly through His word. (John 1:14) God will lead you in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:1-11) which is as the Spirit wills and is in direct union with the inner witness. The Holy Spirit will also bring to your remembrance the word of God that you placed in your heart at just the time you need it. This comes from studying and spending time praying in the Holy Spirit (Hebrews 5:14).

Vision and dreams.

The Open vision is like a daydream. It shows you a clear picture of Gods plan and it usually happens after you were in a deep attitude of praise and worship before God .It is referred as to being drunk in the Spirit. Peter had such a vision about the salvation of the gentiles. (Acts 10:10-45.)
We have dreams at night where God can lead you as well. This type of dream often happens when you spend a lot of time in the word before you went to bed. Out of body experience is another way God leads you. It is where you don’t know if you were in the body or not. The Apostle Peter and John had this type of experience found in (2 Corinthians 12:2,3)- (Revelation 1:1-10). These type of dreams and visions are used to give us Gods highly important message and it is followed with inner peace.
I wrote all this to say that we are not to seek dreams and visions to get a spiritual experience, but to seek God.

Signs and wonders

Signs and wonders follow the believer. (Mark 16:16-20) These signs show that we are in Gods will and that we believe in the Name of Jesus.
To maintain you Spiritual walk with God and be led by Him you must keep Studying, praying, praise & worship, Most of all you must have Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Then you are on your way to a wonderful Christian walk with God.

Faithfulness of women in the Bible

Here are some women in the Bible that I found to be faithful who during trials and tribulations kept the promises, found favor with God, a King, and a rich ruler.

The first woman: Name Esther, in chapters 2;3 Esther finds that she was in the right place at the right time of her life where God was able to carry out His plan for His people, if it wasn’t for Esther’s Faith and courage and putting her own life in danger the Jews would be destroyed. Esther kept the wise plan of her cousin, Mordecai, and found favor of the King to save her people.

God has a bigger plan for our lives than we have for ourselves. God may put you into positions of leadership or influence so that we can be able to complete His plan and purpose. God uses ordinary people like you and me to accomplish the extraordinary things for him. Even though God corrects us don’t ever think for one moment that he will ever abandon us for he loves us and will never leave us stranded. Amen.

The Second woman: Name Ruth In this story we find the Genuine love and giving of self in order to benefit others this kind of love and kindness will be rewarded. The book of sets out where there was a famine that struck the land and man name Elimelech and his wife Naomi moved to Moab where they had 2 Sons the Husband died and the 2 sons married and also died. The wives of the 2 sons were Orpah, and Ruth. The women split up and Ruth and Naomi stayed together. Naomi begged Ruth to leave to find another Husband, but Ruth refused. Naomi became very depressed and changed her name which means pleasant, to Mara which means bitter the reason for this was that Naomi was blaming God for all her troubles. Ruth stood strong and and finds a rich ruler by the name Boaz who happen to be Naomi’s cousin .God blessed Ruth for her love, Sacrifice and proven devotion. Gave her a husband a Son and a part of the lineage of Jesus Christ. Isn’t that a great God or what? God Abundantly blesses those who seek to live obedient lives and wanting to please God in all that we do Amen.

The Third woman: Name Hannah, in this book Hannah was a woman who was despised by her rival who would provoke her in order to irritate her, because her womb was barren
Hannah Prayed the God would give her a Son and that she promised that she would give him back to the Lord to serve God all the days of his life and not a hair of the Sons head would ever be cut. God hears her prayer and gave Hannah a Son whose name is Samuel. Hannah was faithful to her promise and Samuel became the first Prophet Hannah Prayed a prayer of Joy for what God had done found in 1 Samuel Chapter 2:1-11.
God keeps his promises and he expects us to do the same God does hear our prayer everyone of them and answers them.

The Forth Woman: Name Mary. Mary was the Mother of Jesus. Found in Matthew 1:5, 6, And 16 in Luke 1: 26 Mary finds Favor with God and believed the word spoken by the Angel of God and gives Birth to our Lord and Savior Jesus. VS 31-35, 37, 38 Mary sings a song of Joy and Praise that Glorifies God.

The Fifth Woman: is My Wife Diane she is what I call a true Virtuous woman. You find her in Proverbs 31:10-31 and Proverbs 18: 22 which state to find a wife is to find a good thing and finds Favor from the Lord. You may not find my wife in the Bible, but I believe that the Book of Acts isn’t finished being written yet. My wife fits this proverb to the best of her ability and by the Help of God she is always praying over her family and always there to lend a helping hand to all that she comes in contact with. She makes me look good when I don’t always look good. We all rise up and call her blessed. I thank god for my wife for if it wasn’t for God and her I wouldn’t be here today. Thank you Jesus

The Power of One

I hope Pastor Erik will forgive this slight intrusion on his sermon page, but there seems to be a message that is running though the vains of the Body of Christ in these days, bringing to it strength that has not been felt in a long time. It is the message of finding ourselves in Christ.

Now I'm not going to do the whole sermon bit. I'm just going to share from my heart. Sister Diane, the pastor's wife, has spoken twice to the church and both times it has been about unity. I believe this is the Holy Spirit working within her. For I also can testify that the Lord has been speaking to me mightily about being unified in Christ.

If we are not found in Christ we have nothing. NOTHING. If we are found in Christ we have all the blessings and riches of God.

The message Sister Diane brought was to keep alive that spiritual fervor. The message I received from the Lord was that of fires in various stages of burning. Some burned brightly, some were going out, yet if they were united all flames would burst alive in a newness of life. This is the first message of unity. It rekindles the fire within us.

Second all things are given to the Son by the Heavenly Father, because of His obedience which took Him to the cross for our sins. Therefore, when we are in Christ the Father no longer sees our sin, but sees only His perfect Son. And to the Son has been given all things, not just the power over riches, health and spiritual forces, but the power of Kingship. We, who are in Christ, are Jesus with skin on, as Pastor Erik is fond of saying. We are IN HIM Jesus to the world and as such have received all power and authority from the Father.

Do you think I am overstating myself? Do you think I am preaching heresy? Then I ask you to read John chapter 17 and ask yourself if living in Jesus is being one with Him as He has asked that we be, even as HE IS WITH THE FATHER. These are not my words. Now is not the time to bicker over doctrinal disputes, but to unite and flame up with the fire of the Holy Spirit that the world might see Jesus. It's time for us to claim our inheritance and utilize the authority we have in Jesus that we can wage war against the enemy of our soul. In short, it's time to take a stand. Do we have the faith to stand in Christ, or are we weak and unwilling to take on the burden of authority granted to us by our Heavenly Father, purchased by the blood of our Lord and Savior, even Jesus? The choice is yours today. Chose wisely. - Brother David
